Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

2001 Chevrolet Corvette Owner Comments

Front turn indicators keep blowing bulbs. I have contacted GM and Chevrolet motor division concerning my 2001 Chevrolet Corvette. The front turn indicators have been a continuing problem in this vehicle. I have noticed many 2001-2005 models with this problem. The front turn indicators right and left blow bulbs at different times. It seems to be a problem with the lens covers cracking over time and allowing moisture inside causing the bulb to fail thus when turning, the vehicle will not send a signal to oncoming traffic. Chevrolet declined to replace. Car has to be placed on a lift to replace a bulb avg cost $2.95 bulb $20 labor.
