Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Brakes failed while backing out of the garage. After inspection it was determined the brake line to the left rear wheel developed a hole due to excessive rusting of the steel brake line.

While making a tight left turn to gain entrance to the I75 on ramp South of gainsville fla. The driver side front brake caliper locked up causing the car to swerve violently to the left. Fortunately no other car was alongside so an accident was avoided.. since then this malfunction has repeated itself multiple times but fortunately at slower speeds.

While entering the South bound on ramp to I 75 at gainsville fl. The driver side brake locked up pulling the car hard to the left. The designation "service active handling" appeared on the drivers information screen above the steering wheel. I was able to turn the ignition switch to the "off" position & restart the car. Once done the notification in the dic was eliminated & the car drove fine.
