Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that the vehicle shook and the roof was cracked, which caused water to leak into the vehicle when it rained. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the roof needed to be repaired to avoid a bigger issue. The technician stated that the vehicle was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA to file a complaint. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

The VIN was excluded from NHTSA campaign number: 09V491000 (structure). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 27,000.
