I was driving on the freeway late at night, after driving for 25 minutes, and the road in front of me suddenly got dark. I thought that a freeway marker light had gone out, but after looking in front of me, I realized I had no headlights. I pulled off the freeway to a gas station and checked all my other lights, and my parking lights were working, my fog lights were working, my high beams were working, and my tail lights were still working. My headlights, or low beams, were the only thing that went out. I had to drive an hour and a half to reach my destination with my high beams on, which probably pissed off a lot of people on the freeway. When I reach my destination, I checked all the fuses for the low beams in the fuse box, and they were all good. I pulled the relay fuse out and then put it back, and the headlights were still not working. The next morning, I checked the lights again and tried all positions of the switch on my steering column, and the headlights worked. Once I started driving the car the headlights quit working again. Again, all other lights were still working including my tail lights, fog lights, and high beams. Later in the evening the next day, the headlights came on when the column switch was in the auto position, and they stayed on during a 20-minute drive down the freeway. They now seem to be working intermittently, and I do not know what the cause is as I'm not getting any error codes and my computer is not reporting any faults. This is very dangerous as most of my time is spent driving. I have checked the forums online for people with the same situation as mine, and they all reported that the actual wiring into the fuse box is faulty. There is no report of this from the manufacturer of my car, and I think people should know about this. It's very scary to get stuck out in the dark on a highway that is not lit and not have any headlights.

My 09 Corvette base model LT1's tail lights went out after I removed and reinstalled the fuse block. I checked all fuses and relays and they show to be good. Brake lights work as should as well as turn signals but all five tail lights will not illuminate when turn on. Upon further research this shows to becoming a more common problem among early C6 model Corvettes. Tailights will randomly go out and process to be a tail light harness issue. I have talked to a local dealership and they show to not have any problems of safety recalls on file for the issue. I feel this is a safety issue for the drivers and fellow drivers on the road. The dealership also does not know the issue or solution to the issue. I want to at least note that this is an issue that needs to addressed for safety concerns and looked into for possible solutions to the issue.
