The wheel transfer case leaking and engine light on. Pulling lots of different codes. Timing chain is affected and not 100% sure if it's also those other codes.
2008 Chevrolet Equinox sport makes a loud popping/clunking noise in the front end when going over bumps. It also pops loud when turning the steering wheel. When I am driving on straight and smooth roads, there is no issue whatsoever. I have taken my vehicle to four different shops and had it looked at by eight different mechanics and no one can figure out the problem. This needs to be fixed by General Motors immediately! I strongly feel that this can become a serious safety issue.
Was involved in a mva and driver was traveling 50-60mph when her car hit the front end driver side and air bag failed to deploy. Since then air bag sensor turns on and off when there is a passenger in the seat. Passenger weighing over 130 lbs. This is a big safety hazard and is scary to think that this car has yet to be recalled!! will the air bag go off next time something like that happens again??!! GM is wrong for recalling every other vehicle but this one!! power locks do not unlock or lock ever! I always have to manually lock and unlock each one. Safety issue again! and last but not least, there is an electrical issue causing everything in the car to go out every month or two. Recall this car before someone else gets injured.
When starting the vehicle I get 3 warning lights. 1: traction control off 2: service stabilitrack 3: service brake system. As I have read online this issues could have several different issues going on. I have also read that this is happening to alot of Equinox owners, and have since found out this issue has happened on 2007 Equinox models, as well as several other GM model vehicles. I am appalled that there is no recall posted for this issue!!!! I have also read that there could be vehicle fires, engine power reduction, engine power cut off, wheel hubs could break off!!! this needs to be recalled immediately as it is a major safety issue!!!!!!!!!
