I started having problems starting the car. It was dragging to start and then wouldn't at all with out a jump. I had to repeatedly get the car jumped or be stranded. From my understanding the battery was a two-year battery. I took the car in to the dealer and was told it started every time and their machines tested it good. They sent me home with the car. the next day I was stranded and had to wait for a jump. I took it back. Same problem. After leaving the dealer I stopped at an auto part store and had them test the battery. It tested bad, had bad cells. I had to buy another battery for $100. In my opinion the dealership should have replaced the battery the first time and at no cost to me.

I have been reading and apparently this seems to be a common problem! Vehicle gives warning on display then just shuts down while driving. I changed battery as told by dealership and still broke down. I have missed work been on the streets in the heat and had to be towed 2X the dealer said there isn't anything wrong so I leave then it happens again. Now long story short I had to pay $900 plus plus time tips aggravation! I really feel GM should cover this since the dealer had taken so long too diagnose and I still don't know if it will really be finally fixed! I was told that alternator is lifetime covered by GM on 2013 models. I am fixing at dealer due to time missed at work but I really feel very unhappy with my car. I feel it is dangerous since it just shuts down while I was driving and I have a small child! Oh and I feel they are ripping me since they said yesterday I didn't need an alternator and now the next day I do??? Really I am probably going to trade for a Honda. If anyone has had this or similar situation please let me know. Also', this is the second battery in 2 yrs really general motors?

Very unhappy with General Motors!!!!!
