Equinox LS V4

Never has gotten more than 26 MPG on the highway. Not even close to the 31 MPG it is supposed to get. Purchased based on fuel savings over prior auto that I have yet to realize.

Equinox LT 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 11,000 miles

Getting 600 miles per tank, is a joke with this car. I drive in southern CA, and equally drive on the interstate and in the city. I have taken this car on a few family trips in excess of 800 miles. NEVER have I gotten anywhere near 600 miles. I avg about 420 per tank, and avg 22-24mpg as displayed on the dash indicator.

Equinox 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 14,000 miles

We have gone to our dealer twice complaining about the terrible fuel milage on this car. They have told us both times that there is nothing wrong with the car. We were sold a vehicle that we were told would get " at least " 32 MPG on a trip. We have driven twice on long trips on the highway and have yet to get better than 21 MPG. WE ARE READY TO JOIN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGSINST GM FOR FALSE ADVERTISING.

The fuel efficiency is not at all what was reported. We need to start a class action lawsuit...maybe then they will not lie so much!!

Equinox LT 2.4L

I'm lucky if I see this vehicle bounce off 28 mpg. The claim is 32 on the highway. My last vehicle had the exact same numbers as this one and regularly exceeded the 26/32. Signs in the dealership, and in the brochure claim a 600 mile range on the tank. Must be a very long downhill run, like 550 miles - with wind behind 'em.
