Radio GPS Won't Power - My radio and GPS went black a few months after the warranty expired, still under 20.000 miles, this is a know problem since 2010 on Terrain and Equinox, yeat a recall has not happened yet! Very upseting
2012 Equinox dealers cannot repair the problem, stating that sudden dash light and gps lights is a common problem that no one can fix. They said it is in the "software". It is definitely a safety problem because you cannot see your speed or the backup camera. Both are blacked out. Navigation cannot be seen at this time. I have had it out for 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Will come back on suddenly for no apparent reason because nothing had changed in the exterior lighting situation. I don't think it happens at night but can't remember for sure. We took it into three different dealers and they all said it cannot be fixed. They admitted that others had reported the same issue.
