1999 Chevy Express Conversion Van 5.7. Have owned for 4 years and runs great. Sept 7th 2014 would not start that morning. The engine would crank fast but seemed like not getting fuel. Checked fuel relay and replaced still nothing. Called friend who checked fuel pressure and pump. Pressure good and pumped was working. used starting fluid and it would try to start but wouldn't. Let set for few hours and started right up, everything worked great.
The next day drove to town shopping turned off engine and wouldn't restart. All fuses good. Thought trouble might be in key switch. Turned key on and fuel was about half full but gauge went to way pass the full mark and has stayed there. Friend did diagnostic check and no errors. What in the world is wrong?
