While putting on new seat covers I noticed the bottom seat belt swivel attachment to the car rusted. Checked both front seats and they were both crusty rusted. This can't be good. I have pictures to verify my finding. Awaiting your reply. Thank you.
Driver's side door handle just brakes off. I feel this is a safety issue as you can become trapped in your car. The only way to open the door when this happened is to roll down window and put your arm out to open from the outside or have someone else open for you. For instance, if you were in an accident, car caught on fire, stalled on railroad tracks, or carjacked you are a prisoner in the car. The door handles are made of plastic and is a very expensive repair., mine was $200. If it had not been a safety concern, I would not have repaired it. If you research the internet it is very common problem. Please research.
I tried to open my drivers side door and the handle broke off in my hand. I have done research and I don't understand why GM hasn't fixed the problem. It has been a defect since 2006 in HHR door handles. Then they wonder why we buy foreign cars!
