I came out of work one day to find it very hard to shift my car from park. I eventually got it in, but then I had to get gas, so I put it in park, only to find that it completely wouldn't budge after that. I detached the cable coming from the shifter, and tried to move the arm on the transmission. It will only move via a wrench.
