Well, as everyone else who owns an impala from 2000-2005 they've probably had this problem. They are stopped and then hit the accelerator on a dry road and the traction control comes on. Then you go and stop and the abs kicks on for no reason at all. I've taken it to the dealer and they couldn't get it to do what i told them it did. So, I decided i'll check it out. I found water in the cables! There is a fix that worked for me. There is a cable behind your front wheels, you have to take the wheels off to get to it. Once the wheels are off, turn your wheel so you can get to the cable harness behind the rotors. Unplug the cables and see if water comes out of them, if water does, then just blow it out with an air hose, or just let it dry. Once it is dry, plug it back in and the problem shouldn't occur. Its crazy but it works, something must have been shorting out. This is the 2nd time the problem has happened, and every time it was just water in the cables. Good luck and I hope this helps!
