The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the fuel gauge and speedometer gave incorrect readings. The contact was unable to tell the current fuel level or mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was found that the cluster stepper motor had failed. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 150,000 and the approximate current mileage was 150,300.
