I couldn't put more than 0.4 gallons of gas in my Impala at a time. It would take at least 24 hours before I could put a little more gas in it. The vapor canister vent valve was replaced and I can fill up my car now. Expensive repair. I've read that it can happen again. Only time will tell.

The fuel vapor system is so bad the car will not allow the car to be filled more than one gallon at a time.

Impala V6

When fueling, the nozzle constantly clicks off, and fueling takes a long time, holding the pump nozzle and fueling as slowly as possible and it continues to click off again and again. This happens at almost every gas station, and sometimes at the same station it will do this one day and not the next fill up.
