Says that you're not wearing your seat belt or no oil pressure or even your blinkers are turned on; the dash where it lights up no sound is coming out of the speakers for warning.

Impala LT 3.5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 14,000 miles

I got the car in 2007. I have complained and complained about this vehicle having electrical issues. The needles on the speedometer kept bouncing so the Chevy Dealer replaced my dashboard cluster 3 times while it was under 3yr/35000 bumper to bumper warranty!!!! Yes, thats right, 3 times!!! I kept trying to tell them that the transmission wasnt shifting properly but of course they could never duplicate the problem! So finally I gave up on fixing it and just kept driving it. So over time, the electrical problems have gotten much much worse! (whoda thunk it, right?!) Now, different indicator lights will come on, stay on for a day or so, then go back off. ( Engine hot A/C off, which makes the temp gauge inop, but then it fixes itself again! or oil pressure low, turn off engine will come on and go on and off whenever it feels like it. Half of the time now, it wont start so I will get pissed off and start yelling at the car and asking, " What do you want from me? " (like most people do... Haha) Then, it will start up again. Now, the Service airbag ligt came on...... i guess ill wait and see how long it takes for Daisy to fix herself again... ( yes my cars name is Daisy) But despite all of that, so far, ( knock on wood ) the only repairs that ive absolutly had to fix was an oil leak, ( oil filter adapter gasket wore out, almost $400 with parts and labor) replaced the starter, couple of batteries and ive replaced headlamp bulbs ALOT. Also, my car stopped blowing heat and air so I removed the covering that gives you access to the blower motor ( or whatever its called, its inside the car on the pass front under the glovebox) i jiggled the wires and and it started blowing again. I have to leave the cover off or it stops blowing again........Ive kept the oil changed in it and when Daisy runs, she runs..... She now has over 190,000 miles!!!!!!
