I had a 2007 and now 2008 and both have the same problem. My son and I were in Virginia, in the mountains with the 2007 and coming down a hill I had to drag my brakes. I thought the car was going to shake apart. When I took it to the dealer they tried to give it back to me without repairing anything (since it was under warranty). I took it for a test drive with the head mechanic and let him feel the problem. He tried to make it sound good, that there wasn't a big problem but I wished I could have taken him on that hill in VA. They changed the rotors and the problem went away. Now with the 2008 I'm having the same problem with 12,000 miles. I know Chevy and all car manufactures are trying to reduce cost, but if their putting cheaper quality brakes on the cars it's only a matter of time before it bites them. It's a great car but fix the brake and rotor quality.
