Transmission malfunctioned due to a failed torque converter. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that nothing could be done. Please provide any further details on this matter.

While traveling vehicle make a loud noise, also, vehicle does not shift into gear. Consumer contacted the dealer, dealer stated that the torque converter needed replacing. Parts has yet to be replaced please provide any further detials.
