Malibu 2.4L V4

The AC switched light would be on, but then suddenly the air would get warm, and you would have to hit the button for AC again. After a few seconds it would go off again. Had to replace the entire switch, and it started doing the same thing after about a year. The Malibu is a piece of sh*t.

Malibu LS

  • 80,000 miles

I bought this car used with 80,000 miles. Less than a week after owning the car the 1 and 2 switches on the blower stopped working, the next day my compressor clutch blew, I took it to a mechanic and he couldnt find out why it blew, when he saw that my switch board was shorted out from overheat ($50) and then the compressor with labor was around $623 and a week without the car, highly disappointed in GM with this car.

I bougth this car used with 117000 miles. After the spring was over and started using the A. C. #1 and #2 did and still do not work. Another thing is that when you put the recycle switch on it never stays on, it keeps switching back and forth.
