Withing the past 8 months, I have had to replace 2 wheel bearings, 2 bushings, and 1 upper control arm. Today I take my car to the shop because a rubbing, metallic grinding sound in the front end, also the ABS kicked on randomly, so of course I know atleast 1 of my hub assembly's have crapped the bed again. I take my car to the shop, they tell me that I was correct, I have a hub assembly that is bad, but at least that's covered by my 12 month warranty. I also need new struts, springs and mounts because that's adding on to the problem, not to mention something in the rear is bent and needs to be replaced so we can align my vehicle. I'm going to pick up the car today, but it's looking like close to $1200 repair this time around.

I have the exact same problem. I took my car in and they said its my sway bar bushing and they need to be lubricated. They told me it would cost about $225.00. So I took it to 2 other people in town; 1 said you aren't supposed to lubricate them and other would charge me $95.00 to do it. So I have decided to take it in to another mechanic and see what they think. A second opinion, if you will.

As long as we have had the car, there is subtle or low level jingle/rattle while driving. Sometimes when hitting a bump, sometimes on a flat road. Waiting till something major happens and check it out then.
