Chevy says this is not a problem but it is. I'm waiting for a fire to start in my head lights. The plastic around the marker lights has melted and turned black. Headlights cost too much to replace the whole piece and to just buy another one to do the same thing is wasting money.

Malibu LS V6

I have come to realize, after losing my front drivers side turn signal for the 2nd time in 2 months, that there is a big hole at the top of the plastic holding the bulb. It has singed the clear plastic at the top as well. I was told that I used the wrong bulb when I replaced it the first time, but I would like to know how that would explain the same thing happening to the passenger side when I haven't touched that one. I have had many other electrical problems go wrong with car, and I'm waiting for the day that my car catching on fire!! It just may happen!!!
