Malibu LT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,000 miles

I purchased a 2005 Chev Malibu in June 2008, with 32,400mi. I have only had this car for three months and the cd player does not work at all. When ever i try to enter a cd it will not let me and when i press the eject button it says "no disk"....I took it upon my self to have some one give me a estimate on how much it would cost to fix it and they said the kit alone for this car would cost $150 and this does not include the labor to have it installed.....Is anyone else having this problem if so how do we fix it without having to pay for it our self...

Malibu LT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 37,500 miles

I bought a 2005 Chevy Malibu LT w/37,500mi. The CD player will not allow me to insert a disc. I get a "No Disc" message when I push the eject button though I can't be sure if there is a disc stuck in the player. It appears there is something blocking the opening where you insert the disc. Anybody have this problem? Anybody have a cure?
