Fuel pomp removed and installed new one on 6/20/2014 by MIDAS. Since then engine light is on and off. They wanted to charge me $684.28,to fix the problem that they themselves caused. Car was in and out from Pep boys and One Car Doc Inc. charging me for pieces that I think wasn't needed, because light engine is still on. They gave up on fixing my car, can't find where is the problem. The gas cover were changed twice, nothing happened. They keep turning the light off, but shows back again in few days, till present. Charging me more than $500.00 and car has not been fixed.

the check engine light came on again!! they told me it was the battery so i got that fixed. it went off and now its right back on. i take it that they reset the light and nothing else was fixed..!!! i think that it is sad that chevy has no morals about their customers.. If i was the one the ceo's wife or kid it would be no questions asked. and they would HAVE IT FIXED RIGHT AFTER THE 1ST TIME!!! what is it about with chevy making another dollar or do they want to keep their customers happy. You know being from carolina i was told to do others how u want others to do u.. it dont seem that is the case with them.

Engine light has come on once again, has been doing this for a few years. this time throwing money at problem because it now has stayed on, show miss firing code however when check can't find reason [Yet] Still on going now is starting to flash once in awhile keep going back in cost for scoping on going, Changed plugs going to have fuel system cleaned again. So fed up will not go back to GM. Almost think check engine light is more of a money maker for them than actual problems are. Phone GM Canada, offered to send me information on new GM product.............Is she nuts, don't know never heard of that problem before...............A new kind of car company alright, buns are out of the oven and right back to business just like before, Should have left them go under. Will never buy GM ever again. Local Toyota and Honda plants here, good paying jobs for Canadian workers and also good service, "Buy Canadian!" Purchased the unit because family member was selling GM. Not his fault that I made deal I knew better.

So, SES (service engine soon) light went on when front headlight went out. Went to the mechanic to replace light and look at SES. Almost $200 later they found nothing for SES other than EGR code which was fixed in April 2010. On 8/27/10 power assist failed so went to dealer to fix because it was a recent recall. Hubby was at dealer from 7:30 am to 3:00pm. Lost day!! Dealer also replaced brakes. SES light went on with power assist problem so we figured that might be it. On 8/31/10 dealer says computer in car not talking to their computer in shop. (back in dealer for rear view mirror attachmetn which inexplicably broke.) Dealer says computer part is $500. WHY WOULD A CAR JUST 5 YEARS OLD NEED A NEW COMPUTER???? Shouldn't a computer be guaranteed for the life of the car? Chevrolet has a defective computer in my car but I have to pay!?!?!?! Anyone else have this issue or similar? How was it resolved, it in fact it was resolved. Thanks!
