Bought a Malibu 2011 in 2014 with 113,000km, and I always babied the car. Oil, fluids, etc. When the car was 170,000km I was driving one day and the transmission just went off. No first gear, no reverse, nothing. Turn the engine off for a while then the transmission works again for 2 minutes, then after that nothing.
I'm very upset with this car, as the car just fell apart when it reached 160,000km. Bearings, rack/pinion, struts, control arms, rust, wow...
