Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu maxx. On May 15, 2007, the contact's vehicle was struck on the driver's side fender. The drivers side seat belt failed to secure the contact and the air bags failed to deploy. He suffered an injury from striking the steering wheel and was taken to the hospital. The contact has a police report. The engine size and speed at the time of the crash were unknown. The current and failure mileages were 16,500.
