Twice automatic transmission failed, slipping back and forth into neutral, and then slammed back into gear. Automatic transmission was replaced, same problem occurred with the replacement. Owner had pieces of transmission that came from transfer case.

When changing gears from drive to reverse there is a 40-55 seconds delay before actually engages the gear. Dealer says this is normal, has put in a new transmission, defect is still occurring.
