2000 model gulfstream motorhome, i purchased new in 2002. It has stopped on every trip but only in warm or hot weather. when it cools off it runs properly. I have a new computer,no help. I installed a new ignition module, no help. i installed a new cap, no help. I installed a new coil, no help. i even replaced the fuel filter and checked the fuel rail pressure, it all seems ok. note; Chevrolet sold the chasie division to workhorse and i have never been able to get warranty work done.
when driving the power just starts to drop, soon i'm on the shoulder. It will restart but only to die when i touch the gas. the hydroboost powers the steering and the brakes so when it goes dead it is a handful.
should i replace the rotor button and the pickup coil in the distributer?
please help me I can't pay the payment for something that won't get me home.
