4 wheel drive buttons will not cause the drive train to change states unless you hold your finger on them firmly and leave it there several minutes....major pain in the ass when you're stuck in 4 wheel LOW and you need to get home! it SHOULD have covered under 'Recall" but wasn't! just like the rest of the inherent problems ie ( fluttering fuel gauge, Brakes, numerous electrical issues etc )
