Smoke comes from around the 4-way hazard flasher switch. There is a solenoid clicking, no flashers, no turn signals come on. Turn signals work independently. The battery drains because of this short. The smoke concerns me very much. WTF with Chevy's??? I've never had this problem with Ford or Chrylser, only Chevy's and only in the pickups.

Started to hear a clicking sound like the turn signal is on, but it is not. Seems to be more noticable on damp days (after rain).

It sounds like my turn signal is engaging all the time... especially when the steering wheel is turned slightly, or coming out of a turn. The indicator light is not coming on, but I hear the contactor or something clicking.

Also, a while back there was a small puff of smoke coming up out of the steering column? What burned out?? How can I find it and repair it?
