I bought this truck with 21,000 miles on it. Have traditionally been a Chevy truck guy, but feel this vehicle will be the final straw causing me to part ways with GM for good. The paint started showing signs of flaws fairly early on, but waxing managed to control it. Small dots of rust would pop through the paint. Now with 91K miles and six years under it's belt, the rocker panels have rusted through and the bed is not far behind. I had hoped GM had solved their poor body panel performance, but guess that's not the case. I realize I live in the rust belt, but I do take GREAT care of my truck! regular washes and waxes even in the winter. I feel rust through at 6 yrs is COMPLETELY inexcusable!
