Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The ujoints is bad in my drive shaft and when I went up to pick up the new ujoints to put in. The parts store then told me that GM discontinued the ujoints for that model of drives shaft and apparrently from 1999 to 2002. So, How many other people have the same problem. I was told I could go buy a new drive shaft, but why when there is nothing wrong with the one I have. And since we are trying to conserve our scrap in this counter and also for the fact that I am on a fixed income. That solution kinda makes it real hard. I looked for a recall, because I figured since GM is such a good out standing company, it would not just leave several millions of thousand people that paid these big high dollar prices for these trucks stranded out there. When I got looking, I then found that GM has done nothing to fix the problem and there is know after market brand of ujoint you can buy only a drive shaft that cost substancually higher.

Thank you and have a good day,

This will be the last GM product I buy,
