I have an annoying, fast, tapping noise come from my dashboard (occurs frequently). I visited a Chevrolet dealer service department and the service adviser stated "the motors that open the in dash vents were loose and it was difficult to estimate the price because there are three motors". The noise is present while driving and when the key is in the ignition. I took the vehicle to a GMC dealer to have the problem diagnosed and repaired. They didn't hear the noise and replaced the ball joints on the left, front wheel (cost over $300 and the noise is still occurring). Very annoying noise.
