We bought a Chevy 2500HD 8.1L with 54,000 miles on it. We used a quart of oil in the first thousand miles, but then used a quart of oil within the next 500 miles. We are doing an oil consumption test with the dealership but every time that we go to the city we use over a hundred dollars in gas. It sounds like to me that we bought a LEMON and that we can not do a thing about it.
