My speedometer, gas gauge, and oil gauge all stopped working. Funny thing is, it stopped working and of course my truck never had a problem with it before the warranty went out on it. I have only 148,000 miles on my truck, I never really have any problems with my truck and it started acting weird last year. The speedometer started glitching, but I use my GPS to know how fast I am going. So I was not that concerned, I just continued using it. Then my gas gage went backwards (?) and now has gone past the empty and works backward, but the light comes on when I get low on gas. Then the next thing I know, my oil gauge also goes out, but the light also works on it when it gets too low. I don't know what started happening, but I know that the warranty is out, and I don't know if the cluster is bad or if it is just the gauges themselves. Either way, it's annoying that it did it after the warranty and I cannot do anything about it.

Silverado LT 4.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,000 miles

It started with the speed gauges and over a period of 3 months it took out all of the gauges in the truck. Then the lights on the gauges started going out. Also the latch on the tailgate cracked and broke off about the same time. The cd player has a cd stuck in it for about 9 years. We purchased 2 brand new vehicles in 2004 in Brandon FL. and I liked the brand if not for these problems I have looked for recalls over the years and have found none. I see a lot of other people with these same problems so why not recall these vehicles.

Silverado LS 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 107,563 miles

The dash instruments in this truck suck the speedometer does not work. The oil pressure gauge does not work. The tachometer does not work. The air conditioning sometimes blows out hot air. The head liner is flat falling off. For a truck with only 110000 miles on it this sum bitch is falling apart. I will not buy another Chevy product. The dealer says its not their problem, its mine. Imagine that. What a piece of junk.
