Intermittently slips into 3rd gear, not always though. First technician replaced an ignition switch that deals with shifting and that didn't work. Second technician replaced the filter, noted no metal shavings, and will be replacing a slightly leaking line in a couple dasy. GM dealer claims no recalls or familiarity with this problem, but encourages me to bring it in.
I've taken real good care of this truck and never abused it, so I'm not sure why I can't get 225,000 miles on the tranny like the last GM truck I owned. Looking for advice!
