Dealer replaced ring gear, pinion gear, and bearing.. No change in the noise level.. dealer now tells me that they may not be able to fix.. this is on top of the drive train vibration that the dealer also tells me is a NORMAL characteristic of extended cab 2 WD pickups manfactured by GM, also which GM refused to do anything about. Turned in a complaint to BBB, which proved to be a total waste of time and money. Will try Lemon Law next..
