I saw other's were having problems on here with the same thing and now maybe my husband will know I am not losing it! When backing up a few times -it felt like I ran into something. It only happened a few times, but now I know what to do if it happens again ... now I have to fix the ABS situation..l.

I live in the country. The dealership is a 45 min drive from my home. I was Coming home from the grocery store on the highway traveling on dry roads at 60 MPH when I heard a clunk from the rear end. Pulling over to look, there was oil leaking on the ground, a piece of the Diff Sticking out of the Diff. cover. The temp. outside was -30C. This is GM new locking Differential. Waited 3hrs for a tow to the dealer who had no replacement vehicle to lend me and there is no Rental place in the area to get another car. Stranded till GM, who has too many vehicles in line to look at mine for a couple days, then order parts and make the repair. Is it covered under Warranty? NO word yet but I'm not a happy customer.

I can't believe that a brand new truck with just 1000 miles would have this type of trouble. We just purchased a camper and bought the new truck to support the new camper. We haven't even gotten the camper yet and the whole back end is being rebuilt. Anyone heard of this as being an issue with Dana/GM??
