Stated out a small chip. before I could get across town to get it fixed. the windshield cracked. over a 18 inches long. had to have windshield replaced.

WINDSHIELD EXTREMELY FRAGILE. DOESN'T SHOW AND MAJOR ROCK DAMAGE IT RAN LIKE THAT WHILE I HAD MY WIPERS ON. DEALER SAID IT WAS A ROCK BUT YOU CANT SEE ANY THING ON IT THEY WANTED 800 JUST FOR THE WINDSHIELD. I TOOK IT AND GOT AN AFTER MARKET WINDSHIELD FOR 200. MY FRIEND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON HIS HIGH COUNTRY

I'm not sure why, but I have owned 4 Chevy trucks. In my 20 years of driving I have never had a rock chip or a window crack. In my 2014 Silverado I have had to replace 4 windshields.
