My driver-€™s seat started moving slightly then by the end of the day it was rocking back and forth at least 2 inches. The dealer said it-€™s not under warranty and it would be $1,200 to repair it. I had it welded but the weld didn-€™t hold. I am afraid this is a big safety hazard and should be covered especially since the truck is only 5 years old. I only weigh 200 lbs and I am the only one who-€™s ever driven the truck. There is no reason the seat should be broken. Consumer stated vehicle not included in the recall.

Have been experiencing a disconcerting side to side driver seat movement when navigating corners. Had truck looked at as there have been numerous online posted issues with this issue. Upon inspection, was told the seat frame was broken at a weld point and seat would need to be replaced. Also told they have replaced "Many" broken seat frames for the year and model of my Silverado. Note, this truck has only 16,000 miles on it and is maintained like new.

The seat shifts during a right and/or left turn. I was told at the dealership, this was a problem, however there has not been a recall. I jerk with the seat during the turns. I am afraid that if I have an accident or the truck rolls over in an accident the seat will not be secure and may crush me or the driver.

Center jump seat is not equipped with the head restraint. There is a risk that in the event of the rear impact occupant's head will quickly move over the edge of the backrest resulting in an injury.

It seems that my vehicle is leaking somewhere around either the sunroof or the xm antenna. I already had the leak around the third brake light which not only filled the lens up with water and kept blowing bulbs for my third brake light fixed. But from the research I've done it seems that a lot of different year and models of the Silverado have been doing so. But some how when it rains or I wash my truck or go thru a car wash I get water dripping from my headliner onto my heated seats, down behind my dash and water puddling up into my floorboard, on the drivers side. When the third brake light was leaking my whole rear floorboard would be completely soaked. The condensation on my windows would make it hard to drive and be able to see thru the windshield, the water dripping on me while driving was a distraction also and if I turned on my heated seats I sometimes would feel electrical shocks in my butt, and the fact that I have mold growing on top of my headliner and in my carpet makes my truck smell and I'm sure breathing the mold in isn't health for me or my 10 year old son. I took the truck to the local Chevy place and they won't fix it due to it having over 36,000 miles yet I have the extended warranty which doesn't cover this, my insurance company doesn't cover it either.

The drivers seat makes a lateral movement and/or clicking noise. The seat is not stable and can cause a loss of control of the vehicle because of the seat movement when driving. GM is completely aware of the problem. The problem exists on 2014, 2015, 2016 Silverado's and on other GM vehicles. GM will repair the problem if the owner notices it during the 36 month/36000 miles but is refusing to repair it after that. GM has supposedly corrected the problem in 2017 and newer vehicles. Service bulletin #18-na-377 dated Dec 17, 2018 document id # 5185379 applies. This movement and noise occurs while driving especially while turning and is completely distracting. This defect in the front seat mechanism allows for safety concerns that the seat can become dislodged especially during an accident. GM has refused to repair and correct this defect that they have known about for years.

The trucks have a vibration that is felt in the steering wheel, floor, seats, accelerator and brake pedals etc. While driving. The major consensus it that the worst speed it 76 mph, yet it is felt to a lesser degree at any speeds, with some being worse than others. There are a large number of trucks with this issue, yet General Motors refuses to do anything about it. It began within a couple weeks of purchasing my truck. I found people first reporting the issue in 2015, and more recently it continues with the 2015 and 2016 model years.

I bought a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 wt black out edition on 12/1/2015. Within a few weeks of driving truck and about 1000 miles on truck drivers seat has a major squeak and feels not sturdy. After many trips to dealer and replacing several parts, drivers seat remains same as of to date. At this point dealer says there are no issues reported on any other 2015 trucks in the us. Truck seat is unbearable to drive and could be a safety hazard. Truck currently has 4500 miles

Center console beverage holders, have two holes on hard plastic.these holes drain spill liquid from beverages to go inside console and causing mold grow and bad smell. Also causes that usb ports on console to short out and burn. These problem gets worst when owner lifts center console to seat a 3rd person in front of vehicle causing accumulated liquid to spill to back of console, where is impossible to clean. Without taking console apart.

I was stopped at a red light and struck from behind by another smaller vehicle pushing me into a minivan in front of me. On initial impact, the drivers seat was dislodged from the mounting frame. When I hit the minivan in front of me, the airbags did not deploy and my shoulder seat restraint did not engage causing my eye to strike the steering wheel. I have nerve damage as a result of the seat belt not engaging and the airbags not deploying. The vehicle sustained enough damage, including frame damage, that it was considered a total loss. It was 6 weeks old at the time of the incident. I was the only person in the accident who required medical attention. I believe the seat mounting failed, the airbags failed to properly deploy and the shoulder restraint significantly failed. I have pictures indicating the seatbelt fully extended, but did not engage, and will no longer retract. State farm is holding the vehicle pending a possible investigation by NHTSA.

The rear headrest of the crew cab are to small and do not raise up high enough to protect the head of anyone in the rear seat. There is also no center head rest for the rear seat. This is very dangerous and I wish I had realized before I purchased the truck. This is a major safety concern that needs to be addressed asap. At least offer us the option to purchase larger headrest for the rear seat.

After having rains for almost 3 days straight in southern California, I finally got some time to clean the interior of my vehicle. Upon moving the floor mat on the passenger side, I notice the carpet was soaking wet. There is a leak somewhere near the firewall allowing water to enter the cabin on the passenger side. Long term, I am afraid of mold and mildew accumulation as well as water affecting electronics. Front drivers seat has a lot of slop in it. Upon accelerating and braking, I can feel the front drivers seat rock forward and backward slightly. Seat makes a clunking/tapping noise. Radio reception is terrible. Fm radio looses signal strength and sounds like you're in a cave.
