The vehicle started shaking uncontrollably without warning, the driver was able to pull over. The driver noticed that the right side tire sidewall exploded. The driver was able to change the tire. The driver drove to the dealer for inspection. Firestone steeltex at 245/75R16 #dot yn11bab. Please provide additional information.

Firestone steeltex R4S, size LT245/75R16, dot vn11B103600. A bubble developed in the middle of the tires, causing shimmying and vibration when driving at 40 mph. Firestone suggested that the problem was due to road hazard.

My wife took my truck to work. At the end of the day she drove about a half mile and stopped at a stop sign. While waiting for traffic she heard a pop. When she took off the tire was flat. The sidewall blew out. There is a blowout from the rim to the pavement.
