The consumer stated his pant leg continued to get stuck on the brake pedal. The consumer was concerned that will prohibit him from braking in an emergency. Please provide additional information. The consumer talked to other owners of the same vehicle and found that they have the same problems of pant cuffs slipping over the emergency brake pedal when entering the vehicle. Problem distracts consumer while driving because he has to reach down and remove his pant leg from the brake pedal.

Silverado 3500

2004 Chevrolet Silverado braking system is defective. The consumer indicated that he brake pedal felt soft. When applying the brake in an emergency situation the pedal goes all the way to the floor or very close to it. As a result the consumer's right foot sometimes also presses the accelerator while attempting to brake. The consumer was informed by the dealer's technician that there is no fix fro this problem.
