Actuator for split climate control (drive/passenger) blows hot when A/C is on and temperature shows that cab should be cool. This has happened several times since I bought the truck.

2005 duramax Chevrolet 3500 truck, when the engine over heat light comes on it shuts the truck off....very dangerous going up a mountain with lots of traffic on the road. This over heating is very common for the Chevy duramax diesel trucks for 2004-2005 years.

The contact stated on three occasions the heater failed while in use. The first and second time the dealership cleaned the heater core. The third time, the water pump was replaced. There have been no further problems.
