trouble smoothly shifting in colder weather-jolts & catches
We bought 2015 Sonic in August 2015 when it was warm out. It was a really good price. It ran smooth while weather was warm, but as the temperature got colder we noticed problems with the automatic transmission shifting between gears. It wasn't smooth. It seems to jolt and catch and drag into the next gear. We shared this with the dealership, and they said they didn't notice it. It's definitely there as both my husband and I notice the same thing. I myself have been only so lucky to have had transmission repairs on two other vehicles in the past--so I definitely know when there is an issue with the transmission. I sure hope we are wrong, but if we are not I hope that chevy will stand by the issue. We will keep bringing it up! Maybe the Squeeky wheel will get the greese!
We like the car, just hope the transmission doesn't poop out--and if it does that Chevy will honorably fix it!
If Chevy wants to be #1--they need to be honest and stand by there products!
