The fuel pump failed on a trip and in Georgia - dealership was extremely nice!!! nice feature the vehicle would stop but after a few minutes would run again for a short while then stop - we were able to get it to a dealership without towing.

Chevy over-charges for the labor but I would buy the gm part. Its not hard to put on if your tank is empty .. drop the tank and its right on top

FUEL PUMP FAILED WHILE TRAVELING ON VACATION. I WAS TOLD BY NUMEROUS PEOPLE THAT THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM BY GENERAL MOTORS BUT THEY DON'T WISH TO RECALL BECAUSE OF COST FACTOR. I THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME TO SWITCH ALLEGIANCE TO OTHER MANUFACTURER. MAYBE EVEN THE JAPANESE...
