The drivers seat back is extremely lose. Moves forward and back with every brake and acceleration. The seat base also moves slightly, rocking left to right in turns. The suspension completely failed and had to be replaced. An unknown oily substance has been coating the inside of the windshield since the purchase of vehicle in 2015. Requires constant deep cleaning in order to see through windshield.

I have just over 84000 miles on my Suburban. I have had to replace the A/C condenser due to failure in a weld and now have to replace all four struts as they have now failed. I also have part of the heated seats not working as well as sensors that need to be "updated" all the time. I find it ridiculous that Chevrolet will not stand behind its product, especially when so many people are having issues with the same parts of the vehicle.

This occurred at 331 miles, parked, I entered vehicle I started to sit at the right front left passenger seat next to driver seat and I easily bumped into the right corner of the seat between my legs I didn't fell anything at the time and the next day I felt there was heavy tuber bruising on my left leg seeked for help at the emergency room because had difficulty to sit on any chair the doctor described my condition as I have bumped into something and kept talking about it the hole time the actuall report is not completed by the secretary that works for the doctor NHTSA should investigate the occurance since the doctor reported it as a injury at the time of visit. I believe the seat(s) are a defect and that they should be adressed. This Suburban is still for sale buyers and owners beware the danger of the seats as it occurred to me. I am 6 foot 5 and a half weigh around 270 lbs I am a big person.

We have multiple problems with our new Suburban. After traveling slowly or coasting in traffic, when I try to accelerate the vehicle won't go and when it finally decides to go it shudders and vibrates badly, it also does this from a complete stop, been to the dealer 2 times so far this and the last time they told me "it is a normal characteristic of vehicle". it is a very bad one and it will cause a wreck! the radio display flickers all the time even when back up camara is on, GM has no fix for this yet either! the vehicle sticker says it has heated/ac seats, it doesn't have A/C seats, they are airrated from the air in vehicle, that was a total misrepresentation of the product on the sales sticker. GM rep had us test drive another Suburban and we drove 3 different ones and not one of the others did the things our does. When we informed GM of this they said sorry we don't qualify for a buyback/replacement. GM doesn't care to help and its their very expensive product. I hope no one dies or is injured from the hesitations that GM know these vehicles have that is 0.7 seconds before the vehicle will engage or reengage when excelerating from a slow roll or a complete stop.

When driving over a pothole or small bump, the suspension seems to let go and the car jumps very abnormally. We only had 30K miles and I believe this is a suspension problem. The shocks make a lot of noise when we go towards a pothole. We went to the dealership to complain about the shocks and they said there was no problem with the shocks. Soon after, I had to change the front left shock because the service department said it was leaking. They did not notice this in the beginning and suddenly made me pay $650 to change the front left shock. Recently, I had to go change my right shocks and pay for that too, another $700 dollar service. It is unacceptable to have both of my front shocks changed within 1 and 1/2 year. I am not the only one who has been having these problems, several of my friends have also had this problem with this model. We have all sent forward a complaint for the noise and suspension problems. I believe it can be unsafe in the future if it is not taken care of. The steering wheel makes a lot of clinking noise when turning. We went to the dealership and had to replace the steering wheel column within a mere 20K miles. The dealership did not see any problem with the shocks or steering wheel. We currently still hear a clinking noise, as if something is broken on the inside. My warranty is over now and this needs to be fixed. This should not be a problem for a car this new at all. It is unacceptable and I should not have to go to a dealership and waste time and money on it. The seat on the right hand side has cracked two times already. The frame was cracked and we had to have it replaced within the warranty two times now. This is ridiculous and the servicemen have also noticed and said they have seen this problem as well. My warranty is now over and I cannot go back for a third time to fix it if it happens.

While making turns at various speeds, the seat began to wiggle and vibrate. Found that the driver's seat bracket was broken. Replaced under warranty and within a few months, the passenger seat frame was broken as well. Within another few months, the driver's seat frame was broken once again and was replaced today. GM needs to figure out the issue as we are tired of having work done on a brand new vehicle that is very expensive. We have also had the issue with the water coming through the roof at the seat belt locations.
