Recently purchased a used Tahoe from dealership with warranty.while driving in snow making a right turn the stabilitrac light came on, traction control, and ABS. The vehicle fishtaled, engine lost response. The ABS and stabilitrac warnings continue for a short time and went off. I was able to stop the vehicle safely. Second instance in the rain, on the highway. I was traveling in the fast lane, wanted to move over for a fast moving vehicle behind me. As I was changing lanes the stabilitrac light came on again, this time pulsing the a B S breaks. I had to steer harder to the right, to get out of the way. The throttle response was low as well. The Tahoe is consuming huge amounts of gas. About 13miles per gallon. Drags up hill. Seems like it hard to shift into higher gears. Return to dealership for service. Dealer cleaned throttle body, replaced mass air flow sensor. Returned it to me, I told the dealer to drive it, before I accepted it back. Three codes popped up. Back to Chevy for diagnosis. Yaw sensor not communicating, etc. I told the dealer I feel the vehicle isn't safe. I gave them a list of codes off my code reader. It doesn't seem they are taking it into consideration. We haven't had the vehicle a month. The dealer is providing a rental. Seems like a common issue with the Tahoe and other Chevy vehicles. The dealer also told me I had to recreate the problem and/or have the check engine light on for warrenty. The stabilitrac lights comes on intermittently as well as check engine light. I don't think that's fair. They are however trying to figure out the issues. I feel like they sold me a car with known issues.

I was driving on the highway at approx 65 mph. The truck dropped speed rapidly and without warning. Lights starting flashing and stating reduced engine power - service stabilitrak. When attempting to pull over I applied the brakes and the truck lunged forward. This happened three times before the engine sputtered and shut off - on the highway.diagnostic tests show it was error P2135 - the throttle body component. GM/Chevrolet states this is not under warranty. The truck is less than 2 years old. Clearly there is a recall needed as this mimics Toyota's issue with not stopping when the brake is applied and the rapid deceleration without warning is a clear safety issue.

I was driving on the highway with my child, when then engine light came on. Seconds later the "stabilitrak off and traction control off" came on. "service traction" came on and within seconds the power steering left and the brakes seemed as if they were not working properly. Thank god there was not a lot of traffic!! I got over as the engine sputtered and finally died. This could have been a tragedy!! I have read many are having this problem and it needs to be fixed before someone really gets hurt!!
