I don't understand why no recall has been validated on the gauges not working correctly on the dash board. There is certainly enough complaints for a recall. This malfunction can cause your engine to idle to hard and blow a head gasket, not knowing how fast you are going can land you in jail not to mention a wreak that could possibly hurt or kill someone. GM has done a recall on there similar vehicles why haven't you owned up to this problem the trailblazer has. I would appreciate to know why you have done nothing about this problem so many of them are having.

Thank you,

Js

Gauge in the instrument panel sticks - speedometer, fuel gauge, tach. Temporary fix for it - shut off vehicle turn key as if to start but not that far. Might take several attempts to reset completely depending on how far off the gauges are.

My spedometer started going wacky and then it is my tachometer. Now both don't work much at all. Thankfully, I got it inspected and don't have to worry about it for a while.

This should be recalled.

recently i have experienced the problem of the rpm gauge totally going out and now the oil pressure gauge is going. The cluster panel apparently in the 2003 trailblazer has some defects. all of a sudden when this things begin to happen it is just a matter of time until other things start going wrong. as a vehicle owner, with the price of labor and materials you some time dont have the time or money just to keep pouring into something if it is continually go wrong. i feel the dealership should get involved and check to see if they can help the consumers with this problem. apparently i am not the only one that is having similar problems. i feel as it should be handled by the manufacturer before something drastic happens to someone. please investigate and try to help us get this handled as a recall

I have several complaints to file with this car. This will be my first. A few days ago I noticed that every time I turn on my car, my clock is resetting. As of yesterday, my temp gauge always sits at 260 but my car does not appear to be overheating. Dont' really have the money to get this fixed, but it seems kind of dangerous sine I wont be able to tell if my car is overheating or not. I don't want to be in the middle of the freeway or a busy street and just have it shutdown on me b/c it's too hot and I have no clue! Chevy really needs to get it together. I don't think my next car will be a Chevy for sure!

The speedometer doesn't work. This is a common problem with the Trailblazer line and has not been recalled. GM knows the issue with the Trailblazer but ignores the safety issue. This is a safety issue that should be addressed.

Trailblazer LS 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission

First, my speedometer just quit. Then my temp gauge started going haywire. I get up first thing in the morning, go outside and crank up the truck and temp gauge reads past 260. I mean, as far over as it can go. Now, my rpm gauge is starting to go haywire. Poor gas mileage and now starts to rattle in the undercarriage. This truck has sucked from the time i bought it. Had a Camaro before it that sucked also. I'm done with Chevy. Think I'll go back to Nissan, had little to no problems with my Maxima or Sentra.
