Very annoying, replaced lights, they go within a month, and replaced wires to stop the problem, so far, OK.

I had my car in just before the 75000 warranty to make sure that things were OK, mentioned the light at this time, they couldn't find anything. Also spoke with a service rep a number of times since then. Just mentioned that it was most likely the Gas cap gasket. Now I'm outside of the warranty, and will most likely end up paying... I don't think it's fair.

This light situation really sucks. We have been pulled over by hwy patrol and given warning to fix. Fix one light and then the opposite light burns out within a couple weeks. Had to replace bulbs, sockets have melted down and had to replace them and it melted down again. Bulbs test good. Used special care not to touch bulb with hands directly, used skin barrier when replacing bulbs. Tested bulbs and bulbs test out okay. Sockets keep melting down. Is this a recall issue? It is a real safety hazard. Could cause accident.
