My Trailblazer has been a pretty good car except for that back piece. It is a poor design and Chevy should recall it and fix it......Just today driving I noticed 3 other Trailblazers with the same exact problem!!!!!!!!
I went to open the back of my tailgate one day and heard a crack it looked a looked as though it was separated more from the hood though it was ice but months later driving our kids down to sesame place on the highway we heard a loud noise and the damn piece was flying off the back of the truck we had to pull over and rip it off or we were stuck there we could have caused a major accident otherwise.. also in the last week I seen 2 more trailblazers just in my town with the same piece missng so knocked on one of the doors and shure enough same thing. I also seen one in the wal-mart parking lot with the peice still on but it looked seperated like mine did same thing im guessing they need to investigate it is dangerous.
WTF!!! I was driving back from California and all of a sudden i start to hear a loud chatter. The third brake light housing was coming right off.. i had to tape it down with alot of duct tape just to make it back into town.
