The brakes have never been fixed even though they said (there times) that they have been replaced. There is a leak in the suspension, struts, cv/U joints, oil leaks, and possibly the coolant. The alignment is off even though the dealership stated they fix the alignment, but they can't if there's a leak they wouldn't be able to properly fix it. The check engine light has never gone off even though they said they fixed it but said they could not replicate the issue. Even though everything was supposed to be covered under warranty they no longer return our calls even when we go down there, they're not available to talk to us about the warranty. It was never disclosed to us that this was a previous rental vehicle. Now the brakes make sounds while we drive and while pressing down the whole vehicle shakes.

While moving the vehicle jerks as if something is going on with transmission. It has been checked and all is ok. Check engine gives codes and then they disappear. The lights flicker inside and out. These symptoms come and go. Several mechanics have checked out this vehicle and cant find anything wrong with vehicle. Also took vehicle back to Chevrolet. Also the vehicle is being illegally monitored and tracked. This could be causing all issues with vehicle.

My car has been very well taken care of and still is only at 70,000 miles. Prior to a 1000 mile road time with my husband and two children I went in for a regular maintenance and to prep for the trip. After getting back my struts went out, apparently a Chevy defect. After paying upwards of $1,000 to replace and check everything we headed on the road. No less that 60 miles from home, while going 65 on the freeway, my car lost all power. Power steering, ac, the whole thing just shut down! we barely made it to the side of the freeway to be safe from the traffic, again, my children are in this car in 90+ degree weather on the side of a freeway! I am now in the process and finding out that Chevy, american made crap, has had this happen before to families, putting them at risk, leaving them stranded and has not done any recalls on this dangerous matter. The car didn't slow down, it lost power, it lost everything and we would have be slammed by multiple other cars if my husband didn't make a fast move off the freeway. How can a long time, again american, car manufacturer produce such a defective vehicle that can't even make it to 100K miles? so now I am paying on a vehicle that I don't even know what will cost because I have to tow it to someone while still making payments. Do not buy Chevy!

The service traction control light comes on and then it will give you a misfire in one of the cylinders. Also the vehicle appears to almost shut down. The braking system on the car also feels funny. My mechanic has checked everything and cant find anything wrong. The stuff that I describe before is the latest things to occur.. I have complained for a long time now about the illegal tracking of this vehicle and all of my vehicles. I have made complaints to the department of justice, the media and to the internal affairs here where I live in gwinnett county Georgia. This illegal tracking is being done for the purpose of gang stalking.....the tracking information on this vehicle and all my other vehicles has been shared with a large number of people.

The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse. While making a left turn, the contact heard a crunching noise coming from the front tires of the vehicle. The vehicle stalled without warning. The contact placed the gear shifter into neutral to coast to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the failure could be the transmission. The mechanic suggested taking the vehicle to a dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. In addition, the vehicle was taken to american Chevrolet (located at 4742 mchenry, modesto, ca 95356) where it was diagnosed that the passenger side front axle completely detached and the rear differential also was detached and needed to be replaced. The technician also stated that the transmission was faulty, but could not determine without diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired due to the diagnostic and repair fees. The contact called the manufacturer who stated that the vehicle was out of warranty in April of 2017. The best the manufacturer could do was to offered 40% off the repair fees. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.

I purchased a used 2012 Chevy Traverse with only 34,000 miles on it. After owning the car for a month I noticed a strange noise when making sharp right hand turns at low speed (less than 20 mph). Upon examining the car I found power steering fluid leaking from the steering gear. I took the car into the Chevrolet dealership and was told that the steering gear and front struts needed to be replaced.

Traveling approximately 55mph we were hit on the rear passenger side damage to the rear passenger tire well and rear right side on the body with extensive damage underneath. No airbags deployed at anytime in the vehicle. It was taken to the dealer's collision and repair shop and after several weeks it was returned. Within a week of getting it back the service airbag light came on, we took it back to collision repair center thinking it was an issue with the accident but the collision repair sent it to the dealership saying it was a warranty issue. I've taken this vehicle back 4 times now for the same service airbag light. Dealership service department supervisor keeps telling me it's an issue with there not being a grease needed on the sensors and that they apply to each sensor as it comes up, now on the 4th trip back service department manager claims that isn't correct and it has nothing to do with the issue. Each and every time I've taken this car in I have specifically asked if this is a safety issue and if it means my airbags are not working correctly every time I've been told, "no, your airbags are ok, there is no risk to you or your family." Dropped car of for final research into this issue since light came on again this week and service manager tells me that yes it does mean my airbags are not operating properly and there is a safety issue here.
