I am Sameh leaving in Kuwait, facing steering wheel vibration issue since purchasing my 2014 Traverse on Jun 2014.

I have been visiting the Chevrolet Agency after 4 months from purchasing the car almost weekly when I started noticing this problem. First they found default with 2 tires that they replaced, then I have gone through Balancing, Alignment and force road test, ending with the same problem. They were convincing me that due to the flat spot after driving for 15 Kilometers vibration will go, and yes this is almost happening, but, really!!!!

Every day I am driving almost 12 KM in my way to work and of course during all this distance I am facing this nightmare, and also the same on the way back. This is really annoying, over a year now and I am having the same problem, I ran a mileage 15,000 KM so far and I started noticing the problem at the mileage 4,600.

Traverse LTZ 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 723 miles

I purchased a 2014 Chev Traverse LTZ from the dealership in La Vernia, TX. After 3 weeks from purchase and 723 miles on the vehicle, I took it in for warranty work because the steering wheel was shaking in your hands and pulled to the right when you get 50 MPH and above.

Can you believe this, after the dealership had the car a day and a half I had to call to find out if the car was ready and what was the problem. They said the alignment and balancing was all OK but since the vehicle set on the lot for so long the tires have developed flat spots and that I HAVE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE ANOTHER 1500 MILES AND THEN IF IT IS STILL DOING IT THEY WOULD SEE WHAT THEY COULD DO. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? Tires having flat spots on them and then you have to drive the car 2500 miles to see if it will fix itself. I thought the owner of the dealership, who I met and dealt with, would offer to put new tires on the brand new vehicle I just purchased to keep me happy as a customer. But no, I have to drive the vehicle another 1500 miles before they can decide what to do. What a crock of SHI_. Also this is the 2nd new vehicle I purchase in 2 years from this dealership. Also, I own 2 other vehicles plus the vehicle I traded, all the service was done at that dealership.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any responses.
